Allen Wells

Allen is a Mechanical Design Engineer and creator of children’s content. He is a founding member of #BlackCreatorsinKidLit. He grew up in Jackson, MS with a passion for writing, math, and science. He is a graduate of Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. While studying engineering, he always found time to fit creative writing and children’s literature courses. He writes picture books, Middle Grade and YA novels. He also dabbles in screenplay writing. He is a member of SCBWI, #BlackCreatorsinKidLit, and a 2020 #PBChat Mentee.
